The Ariel JG / JGA are versatile, separable reciprocating gas compressors engineered for medium-duty applications in natural gas gathering, booster compression, and small process gas installations. These compact frames are ideal for applications where space, weight, and cost efficiency are critical, without compromising durability or performance. The JG is one of Ariel’s earliest proven frame designs, while the JGA is an enhanced version featuring greater rod load capacity and higher horsepower limits. Both frames support 1 to 4 throws and can accommodate up to 4 compressor cylinders. Known for their simplicity, serviceability, and solid performance in field operations, the JG and JGA are commonly driven by small to mid-sized gas engines or electric motors.
