The Ariel JGM / JGP are heavy-duty, separable reciprocating compressors designed for high-power, high-pressure gas compression applications across midstream and transmission sectors. These frames are built for demanding continuous-duty operations such as pipeline transmission, gas injection, storage, and large-scale gas gathering. Both the JGM and the JGP share Ariel’s rugged engineering with large rod loads, wide stroke capacities, and compatibility with high-horsepower drivers. The JGM serves as a medium-frame workhorse with high load tolerance, while the JGP is one of Ariel's most powerful reciprocating compressor frames, capable of handling extreme compression ratios and large gas volumes. Built to API 618 compliance, both models offer modular cylinder arrangements, low vibration operation, and advanced lubrication and sealing systems. These compressors are engineered for flexible deployment with electric motor or gas engine drivers, commonly paired with CAT and Waukesha engines in field installations.
