The Ariel JGR is a robust, high-horsepower reciprocating gas compressor designed for severe-duty applications in the natural gas and process gas industries. Positioned above the JGP in Ariel’s product hierarchy, the JGR frame is built for demanding midstream and transmission service where high pressure ratios, continuous operation, and large volumes of gas compression are required. It supports up to 6 throws and 6 compressor cylinders, allowing for a wide range of cylinder configurations and compression stages. With its heavy-duty frame, long stroke, and high rod load capability, the JGR is engineered for large horsepower installations and offers high reliability under extreme loading and pressure conditions. It is commonly deployed in pipeline compression, underground storage, and gas injection systems and is compatible with high-output electric motors or large gas engines like CAT 3600 or Waukesha VHP series.
