The Ariel KBB and KBV are part of Ariel’s rugged KB Series of separable reciprocating gas compressors, specifically designed for high-capacity and high-pressure applications in gas transmission, storage, and petrochemical operations. These frames are known for their durability, extended service life, and adaptability to large horsepower drivers in continuous-duty environments. The KBB provides a strong balance of stroke, rod load, and speed for large-volume compression requirements, while the KBV offers even greater rod load and displacement capacity with a longer stroke, making it ideal for extreme compression duties such as high-pressure gas injection and large-scale pipeline service. Supporting up to 6 throws and 6 cylinders, both frames are configurable for multiple compression stages and gas types. These units are commonly paired with powerful CAT or Waukesha engines or industrial electric motors and meet API 618 specifications.
