ONAN QD 10000 is powered by a Kubota D1503-M model, featuring a 4-cycle, liquid-cooled diesel engine with 4 inline vertical cylinders. It includes a brush-type AC alternator with digital voltage regulation and built-in self-diagnostic capabilities. The design features a bottom air inlet and outlet configuration, an integral enclosed muffler with a stationary exhaust pipe connection, and a USDA-approved spark arresting muffler. Additional components include an internal radiator, sound-attenuated housing, intake silencer, heavy-duty air cleaner, and maintenance-free electronic governor. The system also offers regulated-voltage 15A battery charging, hour meter, and waterproof connector for remote operation. A four-point, fully focalized internal mounting system reduces vibration, and it includes safety features such as over voltage, low oil pressure, and over-speed protection.
