Quiet Diesel Series 13.5 QD Model HDKBP features advanced digital electronic control with extensive diagnostic capabilities, including shutdowns for high engine coolant temperature, low oil pressure, over-speed/voltage, and starter overcrank. It has a start-run-stop switch with glow plug preheat and fuel pump priming modes for easy starting, and automatic glow plug preheat for cleaner starts. The electronic governor ensures precise frequency and voltage regulation for quality power. The generator includes a single-phase brushless AC alternator, digital voltage regulator, 12V DC electric system, and electric fuel transfer pump. It also has a cooling system with remote heat exchanger, water-cooled exhaust manifold, full-flow lube oil filter, and oil drain extension. Additional features include a running time meter, vibration isolators, fuel filter/water separator, and a drip pan base. The design incorporates bulkhead-type connections, a single-point lifting bracket, and a closed crankcase breather for easy installation and maintenance. Powered by a 4-cycle, IDI water-cooled diesel engine with 4 cylinders, the system is factory load tested and includes a fire extinguisher access port.
