The Guascor G 86EM (also referred to as the 86EM) is a high-powered, 12-cylinder V-type, electronically carbureted gas engine developed for utility-scale power generation and CHP (Combined Heat & Power) applications. With a displacement of 86 L and an operating speed of 1,500 rpm (50 Hz), it delivers an impressive 2,065 kWb of mechanical power (≈ 2,013 kWe electrical output). The engine achieves top-tier performance with mechanical efficiency around 46.9% and electrical efficiency of 45.7%, resulting in outstanding overall efficiency of approximately 92.6%. Torque output is estimated at 13,200 NM. Aligning with IMO Tier II-equivalent standards.
