The Guascor F240TABAIIISP is a powerful twelve-cylinder, turbocharged and aftercooled diesel engine built for continuous-duty marine propulsion and auxiliary power generation in high-demand environments. With a displacement of approximately 43.2 liters and a bore and stroke of 170 mm × 180 mm, the engine delivers a maximum continuous power output of around 790–800 kW (1,060–1,073 hp) at 1,800 rpm, along with a peak torque output exceeding 4,200–4,400 Nm, making it ideal for large tugboats, offshore support vessels, ferries, and heavy-duty inland vessels. Designed for reliability under sustained load, the F240TABAIIL2SP provides excellent fuel efficiency, long maintenance intervals, and high torque at low engine speeds. The engine complies with both IMO Tier II and CCNR Stage II emission standards.
