The Guascor F240TABIII2SP is a high-performance, twelve-cylinder, turbocharged and aftercooled diesel engine designed for continuous-duty marine propulsion and auxiliary power applications. With a large displacement of approximately 43.2 liters and a bore and stroke of 170 mm × 180 mm, this V12 engine delivers a continuous power output of up to 740 kW (992 hp) at 1,800 rpm, and a corresponding torque output of approximately 3,900–4,000 Nm, making it exceptionally well-suited for tugboats, supply vessels, ferries, large workboats, and inland cargo vessels operating under heavy loads.
