The Guascor G 42HM is a lean-burn, electronically carbureted gas engine with a 12 cylinder inline configuration and a displacement of 42 L, designed for continuous-duty power generation, combined heat & power (CHP), and mechanical drive roles using natural gas or biogas. It delivers 1,040 kWb (≈1,011 kWe) of electrical output at 1,500 rpm, and the same power at 1,800 rpm, thanks to its robust V12 design and efficient intercooling system. With a mean effective pressure of around 16.4–19.7 bar, the engine produces substantial torque, well-suited for demanding industrial operations. Standards and effectively meeting IMO Tier II thresholds at ~500 mg/Nm³. Making it a compact and efficient solution for medium-to-large-scale power and CHP applications.
