The Guascor G-48SL is a high-performance, 16-cylinder, V-type, spark-ignited gas engine designed for continuous-duty power generation in industrial and marine applications. Operating on the Otto cycle with lean-burn combustion, the engine has a displacement of 47.9 liters and delivers a rated power output of up to 1,215 kW at 1,800 rpm, producing an estimated 7,140 Nm of torque. It is equipped with a turbocharger and intercooler system for improved efficiency and performance. The engine supports various gaseous fuels, including natural gas and biogas, and is optimized for generator and propulsion systems requiring steady, high-output operation. The G-48SL meets IMO Tier II marine emission standards and complies with ISO 8178 E2 emissions cycle.
