The Guascor SF240TACIII2SP is a high-capacity, twelve-cylinder, turbocharged and aftercooled spark-ignited natural gas engine developed for continuous-duty marine auxiliary systems and stationary power generation, particularly in combined heat and power (CHP) installations. With a displacement of approximately 43.2 liters and bore and stroke dimensions of 170 mm × 180 mm, the engine delivers a mechanical power output of up to 750–770 kW (1,006–1,033 hp) at 1,500 rpm, with a corresponding torque output exceeding 4,700 Nm. Engineered for long operational life and high thermal efficiency, the SF240TACIIL2SP is commonly used in inland waterway vessels, harbor power units, and industrial CHP plants, where low-emission gas operation is preferred for environmental and regulatory compliance. It incorporates optimized combustion control and air-gas mixing systems, ensuring low NOₓ emissions, high fuel flexibility, and reduced operating costs. The engine meets IMO Tier II and CCNR Stage II emission regulations.
