The Guascor SF240TADIII2SP is a high-performance, eight-cylinder, turbocharged and aftercooled marine diesel engine ideally suited for continuous-duty marine propulsion and auxiliary power generation. It features an inline configuration with a displacement of 23.96 liters (bore × stroke: 152 mm × 165 mm). When operated at 1,500 rpm, the engine delivers a continuous output of 478 kW (650 hp), and when pushed to 1,800 rpm, it reaches up to 606 kW (824 hp). Designed for demanding environments such as tugboats, patrol crafts, workboats, and diesel-electric hybrid vessels, the SF240TADIIL2SP provides high torque and efficient operation across a broad load range. Certified to IMO Tier II emissions standards (and CCNR II for inland waterways), this engine meets environmental regulations without the need for exhaust aftertreatment systems.
