The MWM 6.12 TCA,part of the12 engine family, is a compact and durable inline 6-cylinder diesel engine designed for marine propulsion, auxiliary marine systems, and industrial power generation. With a displacement of approximately 7.2 liters, the engine delivers power outputs typically ranging from 150 to 200 kW, depending on its configuration and speed (1,500 or 1,800 RPM). The engine features turbocharging and charge-air cooling (TCA), which ensures high power density and fuel efficiency, even under continuous load conditions. The 6.12 TCA is widely used in workboats, tugboats, and small vessels, where reliability and ease of maintenance are critical. It generally complies with Tier 0 or IMO Tier I emission standards, as it predates modern Tier 2 and Tier 3 regulations.
