The Waukesha VGF engine series is a line of high-performance, medium-speed, four-stroke natural gas engines designed for continuous-duty power generation and gas compression applications. Available in inline 6-cylinder and V12/V16 configurations, VGF engines such as the L36, F18, and P48 models deliver power outputs ranging from approximately 190 kW to over 800 kW, with robust torque characteristics suited for variable load conditions. The VGF series is engineered for fuel flexibility, capable of operating on a wide range of gas qualities including pipeline gas, field gas, and low-BTU fuels. Designed to meet EPA Tier 2 and Tier 3 emissions levels, These engines are commonly used in oil and gas field power generation, gathering and processing plant compression, and distributed generation systems where uptime, fuel versatility, and regulatory compliance are essential. Their compact footprint, serviceability, and adaptability make the Waukesha VGF series a trusted choice for midstream and industrial energy applications worldwide.
