The Waukesha VHP Series is a family of robust, medium-speed, four-stroke gas engines designed for continuous-duty industrial applications, particularly in gas compression, mechanical drive, and power generation. The VHP range includes models such as the 7042GSI, 7044GSI, and F3524GSI, available in naturally aspirated, turbocharged, and intercooled configurations. These engines deliver power outputs from 500 hp up to over 1,500 hp, with torque levels suitable for demanding load profiles and variable-speed operations. Built for operation on pipeline-quality natural gas, VHP engines are optimized for long life, low maintenance, and remote reliability. Emissions compliance ranges from EPA Tier 2 to Tier 3, supported by integrated control systems like ESM2 (Engine System Manager) and emPact emission control technologies, including three-way catalysts for rich-burn engines.
