8LV Series

The 8LV Series engines (320Z, 350Z, 370Z) are V8-90º, 4-stroke, water-cooled diesel engines, offering varying power outputs: 235 kW (320 mhp), 257 kW (350 mhp), and 272 kW (370 mhp) at 3800 rpm. With a displacement of 4.46 L and an 86 x 96 mm bore and stroke, these engines feature twin-turbocharging and intercooling for enhanced performance. The direct injection system uses a Denso common rail, and the engine management is electronic. Cooling is handled by both fresh water and seawater pumps, while lubrication is provided by an enclosed, forced system. The engine weighs 435 kg (959 lbs), has dimensions of 1198 x 1043 x 886 mm, and operates counterclockwise when viewed from the stern. It meets multiple emissions standards, including EU RCD 2, IMO, EMC, and US EPA Tier 3, ensuring top-tier performance and compliance.
